Exciting weekend of craziness . . .

Well this weekend was not the best I have ever had:

Step 1: lost my credit card (actually the puppies stole it off of the table and hid it, they are preparing me for having teenage children!).
Step 2: Kentucky Looses (as I told the nurse on Sunday, I cried blue!).
Step 3: Cut my finger with a sharp knife. And by cut I mean 1.5 hours of blood and six stitches cut. (my story is I tried to knife fight west virginia for their final four spot and it didn't go so well for me - actual story, I was cutting chicken)

However, all of the disasters were made okay by the exciting parts of my weekend:

Step 1: ladies night with my William Mitchell Girls, we had lots of dancing fun!
Step 2: taking the puppies to the dog park and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Step 3: Ate at the 112 Eatery with Phil and Jill, it was very tasty, as in, i've been craving it since Saturday tasty :)
Step 4: Chris buys an Xbox, and at my urging Lego Star Wars the complete saga. This is my favorite game of all time and I finally get to play without nanny kids making me share :)

. . .

So the good weighed out the bad. In school news we have come out of mid-terms, had a quiet week, and have now sailed into "oh my gosh finals are in a month" mode. Oh dear, the fun never ends :)

. . .

sorry no pictures, eventually I will have time for them again!

Productivity

Well our two weeks of craziness are finally finished. Mid-terms are done, and the big WRAP assignment is handed in, and now I find myself in the most unproductive mode that I have ever been in, in law school.

It could be that March Madness is upon us, and so many of the games have been so close that I just have to watch. (GO UK!!!)

It could be that spring weather is upon us, and how could I choose sitting inside doing homework over taking the dogs on a walk?

It also could be that I hit my head pretty hard on Saturday (that story is for another day!) and have had this looming headache ever since.

Regardless of the reason I am blissfully un-productive this week. Hopefully it will only last for a week, or I could be in trouble J

Closet Makeover

Well Spring Break has come and gone, and I definitely enjoyed it! Here are some fun things that I did:
-Observe Oral Arguments in my Mentor's Court of Appeal
-Observe a business mediation through Ramsey County Bar Association
-Spend a day with my Dad at MOA, we saw the Book of Eli, which was okay, but more importantly I got all of the Percy Jackson books, it is going to be hard to resist reading them! I also gave him a tour of William Mitchell, which was fun!
-Spent some time with my mom and nephews
-Got to see my Saint Cloud friends
and most importantly . . .
-went shopping!! We set aside some money for me to start building my professional wardrobe and buy some suits (being that I am going to be wearing them everyday for my clerkship). I've been shopping for a while now, but I spent the last of my money over break when I was shopping with Maureen. Here are some photos of my new suits . . .

Navy Blue four-piece from Ann Taylor. It has pants, a skirt, and a dress (which I am wearing in this pic). It is my favorite. I think this is because it makes picking a shirt to go with it easier (being that I do not have to pick one)

Pin Stripe Gray from Banana. This one is a three piece. Oddly enough I am starting to like the skirts better than the pants!

And finally my three piece black from the limited. Love this one because it is very classic.

And as a bonus, my new dress from the limited . . . love it because is the first dress like this that I have tried on and it actually fits!

There you have it. I've also invested in a lot of shirts to wear under the suits, that on top of my other two-piece gray suit that I already had, and I think I am set for the summer!

Now more studying for Contracts . . . mid-term season is upon us!
